This 1940s West Hollywood bungalow belonging to interior designer Stephan Jones was purchased from its original owners in its original condition; and, after Jones had finished extensive renovations to the home and garden, this ‘plain-Jane bungalow' could no longer be described as such.

With a cohesively neutral palette, and an acute attention to textural and tonal detail, Stephan Jones has created a consistently calm space for both he and his partner to enjoy. Jones also plays clear and close attention to his choice of art, favouring the medium of collage, a personal favourite of Jones’.

Much like the interior, the exterior palette and landscaping of the home is kept simple. According to Jones the, “…charming WeHo bungalow is the closest reflection of who Stephan is. A very personal thread that runs through his work is thoroughly on display in the home’s groundedness, simplicity and humanity.”
