Artist and designer AndrĂ© Dubreuil has converted his former family home in the French countryside into a warm, and spirited reflection of his love for object, art and design. Perhaps the most memorable room pictured here, is the kitchen. An amalgam of old and new, where the choice of a bold cabinetry colour against natural materials like wood and stone, makes a simple statement about the buoyant intersection of form and texture, and of the harmonious relationship between past and present. All-in-all, successful homage to Dubreuil's curious spirit.
